Uninstall Sophos.https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/120838.aspxjavascript:;There are no viruses that can attack Mac.OS X. So, anti-virus programs are selling a cure for a disease that doesn&#x27;t exist. And they are renowned for borking Mac systems. Sophos is one of the worst. Then, run another EC report for us.

You may not be experiencing a problem now but third party anti virus software such as Sophos is problematic. Third party anti virus software can slow your Mac to a crawl.Aside from that, your Mac is running a very outdated OS X v10.6.8 Snow Leopard.See if your Mac meets  El Capitan requirements &gt;  Upgrade to OS X El CapitanWith El Capitan installed your Mac would have &gt;  About System Integrity Protection on your MacI see you have a Lexmark scanner. Prior to upgrading visit the Lexmark website to see if they offer v10.11 El Capitan drivers you can download.You shouldn&#x27;t have any issues with Fitbit on El Capitan.

I concur with the other two replies, uninstall Sophos. There is nothing constructive for it to do on the Mac so all it does is cause problems.
