Q: My iPad (1st generation) is not working. I was told to restore it through iTunes, I can't seem to connect it with iTunes. Can you help?
My iPad (original 1st edition) is not working. It is charged and turns on, however when i go to an app, it starts and goes back to main page. I was told to restore it through iTunes and i can't seen to connect it to iTunes. Can you help?

Try these standard troubleshooting steps.
Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-20 seconds).
If this doesn't help, you might need to Restore your iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184
If your backup is to iTunes, make sure it's an encrypted backup.
