Cleaning MacBook Pro

Hey, I just wonder if there's any tips to follow of how can I clean my MacBook Pro from those files that you don't need and they're just taking all of your memory while they're trash.

Thanks

empty your trash.

what exactly are "files you don't need", because there are files you don't access that are essential for the computer to use and you should not go and erase out of prejudice.

Best practice is backup your disk before you go whacking data.
