New to using Automator and have searched and searched for a step-by-step guide (or similar) to help duplicate data from one external hard-drive to another external hard-drive.
I am a photographer and I store all my data/photos/videos on an external drive. Here is, in theory, what I would like to happen.
When I add new data, by uploading from CF cards from a new shoot, to my primary external server (Promise Pegasus) I would like it to automatically start duplicating that data (a folder of RAW photos for example) to my secondary external server (Lacie 5Big) which is daisy-chained to the primary external server.
I require it to be duplicated in the exact same location on the secondary external server so I have a mirror of the primary on the secondary.
Is this possible with Automator? Hope so? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.
