We've upgraded to Windows 10 and have about 10 late 2012 mac mini classroom computers with HDMI. In OS X the HDMI Audio works no problem, however in windows it doesn't even see it as an option. I've tried installing a few different version of the Intel Display Audio driver, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else had this issue or gotten it work?

In device Manager I have Cirrus Logic and Intel Display Audio listed in device manager. Bootcamp drivers have been installed. If I go to Playback devices I see Speakers, Headphones, and Digital Audio SPDIF. HDMI does not show as an option.
I have a slightly different Mini. It has an AMD6630m, so it has different drivers. On the Mac side, it shows the correct drivers.
Can you connect the HDMI and check in Windows Device Manager? In Device Manager, also click on View and enable Show Hidden Devices.
Even after checking the box to show hidden devices I don't see HDMI listed in device manager under audio inputs. Thats why I'm thinking its the intel driver not talking to the device. I have several late 2014 mac mini's where this works fine on the same HDMI audio setup.
Is it possible to remove/re-install Windows? If yes, before the Mini switches to the W10 installer after reboot, hold the Alt/Option key and choose the Windows icon from the USB (not the EFI Boot icon).
On a 13-in 2013 rMBP, I see the following devices and entries in W10.
What are the available Audio devices in Device Manager? If you do not see Cirrus audio devices, your HDMI audio will not work.
Can you see a new HDMI sound device in Windows, when connected?
I will check the Mini and find out what I have currently connected. It may be S/PDIF, but I can test with HDMI.
