Q: PlayStation Vue app on Family iPhone won't download
We just decided to cut the cable and start streaming using the PlayStation Vue platform. So far it meets our needs. However, my daughter's room has a Chromecast streaming device that she manages using her iPhone (my old iPhone 4s). She is on 9 years old and I have her set up on my family iTunes account. Here is the problem: When she opened up her Chromecast app to download the PS Vue app, the "Get" button for PS Vue is shaded out and will not let her download the app onto her iPhone. I'm convinced this is due to an age restriction because of my family setup. How can I work around this so that we can download this app? Where can I go to change the family settings? Can I download it for her on my device and then have her download it from the cloud? These are all just ideas. I don't know.

Hello bubbajaxonbrown,
Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I know having an issue with apps is not what you expect. If I understand correctly, you are unable to download the PlayStation Vue app from the App Store on your daughter’s iPhone 4s. Because this app is part of Family Sharing, I would start with the steps in this article to resolve your issue:
If you don't see your family's shared content
Another way you could get this app on your daughter’s iPhone is to transfer the app from your iPhone to iTunes on a computer with this process:
Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
Then sync the app from iTunes on a computer to your daughter’s iPhone 4s:
Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
Cheers!
