Q: AirDrop not working between 3 devices?
I have a late 2012 MacBook Pro (model 9.2) and I have just updated it to El Capitan. The upgrade went smoothly and everything works fine. I was eager to try out AirDrop between it and my iPhone 5c and my partner's 5s, but I can't get it to work. I have enabled wifi and bluetooth on the three devices and set AirDrop to all contacts.
The iPhone 5s picks up immediately my 5c and it can share files with it, but the reverse doesn't work, i.e. when I tap on AirDrop to share a file on the 5c no contacts come up.
The same happens with the MacBook Pro: no contacts appear in the AirDrop window, nor can it be seen by the iPhones.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
