None of the described ways to import or otherwise transfer images from iPhone SE, running iOS 9.3.4, to my mac works.
Cable connecting and restarting the phone got Image capture to seemingly recognise the images (without preview icon), but when asked to import them, it remains with the message "Importing "IMG_..."", nothing else ever happens, nothing gets imported.
The same procedure got Photos.app to list empty preview icons (where before even the Import tab was missing), but import command did nothing.
Trying to send even a single image from the phone starts an endless process of "preparing to send", regardless of which sending method (mail…) I choose.
Any idea what might be happening here?
