iPad mini screen freezes and webpages close

Recently, my iPod mini has experienced screen freezes while on various websites, and I've also been looking at a website when the webpage suddenly closes and I'm kicked to the home screen (where the app grid appears). When the screen freezes, I have to do a hard reboot since the iPod becomes unresponsive to any stimuli. The screen freezes became much worse after the iOS 9.3.3, and the webpage closing only started after this, the most recent, iOS 9.3.4 update.

Has anyone else had this problem?
