Aug 17, 2016 3:04 PM in response to NorthwestTennesseeby Roger Wilmut1,I would assume that Line 5 is causing trouble because you don't have the 'xmlns' declaration in Lline 2, which currently reads:
<rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" version="2.0">
needs to have this added, thus:
<rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/" xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" version="2.0">
Only with this present can iTunes resolve line 5 (the URL in the declaration tells iTunes how to handle 'atom:xxx' tags). At present the error (I assume it is this one and not something else) is rendering the feed unreadable, hence the Store is not updating (it's showing a cached version) and subscribing comes up with no episodes at all.
A simpler solution, though, is if possible to remove line 5 altogether - you don't need it: Atom is an ancient rss reader and I doubt anyone is still using it, particularly for podcasts.
This is almost certainly the problem, but if there is anything else it won't be detectable until you've removed this problem. When you've done so, try subscribing manually in iTunes (from the 'File' menu) and see whether your episodes now show. If you still have problems please do post back.
