Q: My iPod Nano has lost all music and will not sync

I recently restored the software on my iPod Nano 3rd Generation.  In doing so I lost all of my songs, photos, etc.

Now I cannot get my computer to recognize the iPod and it will not turn on.  It IS fully charged.

Doing a Restore using iTunes erases the iPod...  That is by design.

If the iPod is not responsive, try doing a Reset

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support  (see section iPod with a click wheel)

... it will not turn on.  It IS fully charged.

If it does not turn ON (nothing on screen), there's no way to tell if the battery is charged.  In case the battery is dead, you can try doing the Reset while it is connected to power.
