disk space issue
Apps or other taking up too much space on new mbpro? Was originally apps but after re-indexing changed to other. Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities and congrats on your new MacBook Pro! So it looks like we are wondering why the "other" storage area is taking up so much space? Your other storage area contains data that is uncategorized on your Mac HD. This link has some excellent info about what the other storage is and may assist you with freeing up this space.
