The messages app on my iPhone 6 plus won't work.

I went to go open my messages app because I had received a message and my messages app force quits itself when I try to open it. I have tried to turn it off and back on, hold the home and power button at the same time to turn it off and back on, completely closed out the app. Nothing will work. HELP????

(All of my other apps are working fine)

Restore from backup

Restore as new

my problem isn't sending and receiving messages. my messages app wouldn't work but I have resolved my problem.
