Hi

our school's Ipad is locked and even though we have provided the original receipt with serial number etc we still cannot get Apple to unlock it. Any suggestions?

The school should be able to unlock it, especially if they are managing the device with software. Otherwise, the school will have to take the device to Apple for assistance.

Unfortunately the person who locked the Ipad left the school and we don't have the password. Do you mean we have to take the Ipad to an Apple store?

Yes you will. Since it seems you can provide the original receipt, then they should help.
