Q: Why has apple never built in a find remote for Apple TV since its inception?

TO this day, I have seen other similar products with built in find remote features. Roku has it. We have the find my phone app on iPhones, iPods, iPads, wireless handset phones. But, never on Apple TV Remotes. Why?????? I can't tell you how many times I have lost my Apple remote, and the Apple TV would not recognize my iPhone. There is absolutely no technical reason why this not a built in feature. Add a touch button on main box, and have the remote beep. Or for those who are deaf, have the screen show where the remote is.

Only Apple could answer that question, and they do not participate here. This is a user to user support forum. If you would like to see this kind of feature, you can provide feedback to Apple here, http://www.apple.com/feedback and then click on the appropriate subject area. Apple reads all of the feedback there, however they do not provide individual replies.
