I used Flyover for the different cities. After a while phone reported that it is few place in storage. How now to release memory? How to delete a cache of these satellite pictures?

Have you tried restarting your phone or force closing maps app? (to do the latter: while Maps app is open hold the power button until you see 'slide to power off'. Then hold the home button until you see the home screen)
Unfortunately these two methods don't lead to a solution.
I would like to specify that I used Flyover in Apple Maps, but not the independent program.
Apple support offered a solution to this problem. Reset your phone and then restore it from the copy. During this procedure the cache is cleared. I released about two gigabytes in storage after I did that.
Flyover used all memory on iPhone.
