iCloud Family invite not being received
My wife and I used to share an Apple ID, but this was a bit of a pain due to the odd duplication. Having just got new iPhone 6S's each I noticed the family sharing so attempted to set this up.
I show up as "Organiser", I created an account for my daughter (who's 11) so she shows up, and then I invited my wife using her email address - which is registered as her new Apple ID. It's been validated and she can log in to her own iCloud account.
So I sent the invite, and nothing happens essentially. I resent it, and then resent it some more - in fact I hit the "max number of invitations sent" message. This morning, have tried closing settings and rebooting both phones and resending again, but again, no invitation is received.
I double and triple checked the email address and that is definitely correct. Under my iCloud family settings, it's still sitting there saying "Invitation sent".
I'm a bit perplexed, unless there's something going on with Apple servers and they are having a funny - but we've obviously had a bunch of other messages coming through from iCloud telling us that we've created things, and have new sign-ins etc
