Not sure on this one without more details.

But, it sounds like maybe you have set something to Startup at Log-in.

To check, go to: Apple > System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items and remove that item from the list.

We can not see what you are seeing, so you need to provide more details, screenshots or something.

Try logging out of the App Store and then logging back in.
