Are emails from ‘**********' from Apple?

I am wary of an invoice from **********- to cancel an invoice and get a refund for icloud storage - which I wasn't aware I was using I am asked for my card number, account number and mother's maiden name. This seems like the sort of thing a scammer would do, right?

Hi

That is not from Apple. Do not click on any links in the email or enter any information in any website referenced in the email.

Hello, Thanks. Its a very good rip off of the emails you get from apple - same font with the apple symbol and icloud symbol. I hope somebody sees this that can watch out for it. I'm a little worried i started filling in my details before I realised this looked scam like - but didn't press submit so I'm hoping it wouldn't have sent. Thanks again for your speedy reply.

If you didn't send it nothing has been sent, they can not see into your computer (thats why you have to submit for them to scam you)

You are most welcome!

If you clicked on a link in the email, then you may still (depending on their tracking methods) have confirmed to the sender that they targeted an active email address (even though you did not go on to submit any information).

I suggest that you remain vigilant in future, as you may receive further phishing emails.

If that email address is also your Apple ID, you may wish to consider changing it, to help reduce the risk of falling victim to any future phishing efforts:
