USB 3.0 Hub Failing after update to 10.11.6

Hi All,

I have a Sentey USB 3.0 7 port hub that I purchased about 4 months ago. After updating to OS 10.11.6 it started disconnecting my drives. I called their tech support number and they said 10.11.6 is not compatible with the hub, and neither is new Mac OS that is due to come out.

I didn't think that was possible. Anyone else having issues with their USB hub after updating to 10.11.6? Later I will try booting off of a older OS drive and see what happens.

I have a similar situation. The only difference is that my USB ports are not recognizing devices that I connect to them. Specifically anything to do with Arduino. Granted I have not yet tried a simple flash drive. I will do that here soon, but it is still weird that my ports are not recognizing anything and I just got my MacBook a few months ago.
