Q: time capsule flashing yellow

I recently changed to the Eero mesh router because I had so much trouble with buffering on my TV at the other end of the house.  My time capsule is now just for backups, which it seems to be doing OK.  It's connected to the Eero main router via ethernet.

But it's flashing yellow.  I can't "see" it any more under airport utility (probably because it's not involved in wifi; I suspect I have to reset it somehow to get on the "new" wifi.  But how?  Thanks in advance.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), null

Let's find out why the amber light is blinking.

Connect an Ethernet cable from your Mac directly to one of the three LAN <--> Ethernet ports on the Time Capsule.

Temporarily, turn off the WiFi on the Mac

Open AirPort Utility on your Mac......(Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility)

Click on the picture of the Time Capsule

In the smaller window that appears, look for a setting for Status

Click on the small amber dot there and another window will open with more information about the "issue"

Post back with the exact message that you see there

Great!  I had to change it to bridge mode and now it's green.  Thanks!

Nice work!  You should be all set now.....no need to reset the Time Capsule and start all over again from scratch.
