I just got a new mac mini. I bought a 32" monitor (720p) and connected via HDMI. The pixelation is really bad. I tried every setting I could find, but it never looked any good.
Is this monitor just too big for the mac mini?

The monitor's resolution is too low.
I had it set to 720p and it still looked very pixelated. I'm wondering if this is just the wrong set up.
720p at 32 inch LCD the pixels will be noticeable.
to show all display options on the video card go to
>System Preferences>Display
and hold down the OPTION key while pressing the radio button for "Scaled" to display the list of possible alternatives.
Are there any other port configurations on the display so you
may be able to choose an alternative cable to use it? Apple
has a suitable adapter for 30" - & that uses Dual Link (DVI).

With the Mini, some displays may use an adapter from Thunderbolt to run
however those options are limited and I've not used them to experiment.
