Q: Song download hopelessly stuck in iTunes

I have a song that is stuck in my iTunes downloads (see picture below).  I have tried every thing I can think of to get it out, but it just won't go.  I can't search for songs and download them anymore because the little status wheel is always turning and nothing happens.  Please help!

    It appears you're kind of stuck downloading just that one song on your iPhone 6 Plus using iOS 9.3.4. I'll help you get that download either completed or stopped. Remember to check on that song after each step you use.

    Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- When something gets stuck, never underestimate the power of a good restart!

     

    From your screenshot, it doesn't appear that you've subscribed to Apple Music. But, in case you are, following this step means you'll have to re-download songs you'd like to play when you're iPhone is offline.

    Sign in to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV --  This article shows how to sign out of iTunes & App Store on your iPhone. After you've signed out, restart your iPhone and sign back in.
