Devices show in sidebar even when not connected?

Hi,

Hoping someone may be able to shed some light;

I have 2 iphones, a 5S and a 6S that I connect to iTunes to backup and sync, normally when they are connected they show up in the sidebar as they should, then I can 'eject' them from there and they disappear from the sidebar when they are disconnected. However, for some reason, they are both now showing in the sidebar whether they are connected or not and I was just wondering if this is correct, whether it is a new feature included in a recent update maybe?
