The newer Apple Music service includes it so that playback rights can be removed at the end of a subscription.
iTunes provides backwards compatibility to all Apple iPods. If you're having trouble updating your iPod with iTunes start with If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support.
MediaMonkey is a good alternate media player.

I just need to learn how to access this. I have a ton of cds but I just rent from the library? Thank you for the reply.
