Changing Primary Apple ID Email (@icloud.com)

Hello,

I just wanted to change my apple id primary email address which is @icloud.com.

I searched google and apple communities but couldn't find any result.

Apple says I can't change @icloud @mac email addresses.

Should I call them to change my Apple ID? Will they?
