I Just bought iPad Air2 two weeks ago. I cannot download apps made by apple for free such as keynot and pages. My apple id was created last year when I bought my first ever Apple product, iPhone 5s. Anyone please help me solve this problem.

Did you follow these instructions?

Are you signed into the same Apple ID that was used to activate your iPad?
Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID, restart your iPad and then sign in again and try to download the apps again?
thank you Demo. I have done as you instructed. I also set my paying method to none. Still cannot download for free.

I tried both of your suggestions. Not working. There's no longer Apps Made by Apple on the Feature.

When you are in the App Store, tap on the word Categories at the top and select all categories. If you see a back button, just keep tapping on back until you get to Categories and select all Categories again. Then check for Apps by Apple at the bottom of the App Store.
i discovered that my Quick Links on Featured is different than yours because my Apps Store are for Malaysia store
I knew that you weren't in the USA App Store, but I didn't know where you were. Can you do a search for Pages in your App Store? If you can, what happens when you do the search?
