Q: I want to use both my iPad 2 and my iPad Pro

I Have no idea what relevance this has to not having the latest version of iTunes or where you are seeing this.

you can try putting the device in recovery mode

What version of Windows do you have? You need 7 or later to update to iTunes 12.4.3 and that version is needed for the Pro, not for the iPad 2.

Some of this does not make sense. iTunes is on your computer so you only have one version and if you have 12.1.3 it will not work with the Pro. Update it to 12.4.3 as I suggested before. Do you have Windows 7 or later?

These are the minimum requirements in order to sync your iPad Pro with your PC. The iPad 2 will still work but the ne iPad Pro will not.

Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:

• Mac: OS X v10.8.5 or later
• PC: Windows 7 or later
• iTunes 12.3.3 or later (free download from www.itunes.com/download)
