iCloud bookmarks duplicate and resync seconds after I delete them

I've used iCloud between my iPhone, Mac and PC forever, however recently, my bookmarks have duplicated numerous times and when I try to delete some of them, seconds later they're back.. I've tried deleting them on my Mac in Safari and I've also tried deleting them from Chrome on my PC. Either way I do it, they just keep coming back. It makes it quite difficult when I want to find a bookmark and there's hundreds of them listed now because of this issue.

Hello jbramble,

I can understand your concern with multiple bookmarks being duplicated across your devices. The best solution for you is to disable the sync service on your iPhone, Mac and your PC temporarily.

On the Mac: Click on System Preferences > iCloud, then uncheck Safari

To do this on your iPhone: Tap Settings > iCloud then switch off Safari.

On your PC: Click on the Start button > Apps & Programs > iCloud for windows. Then switch off Bookmarks sync.

Once this is done on those devices, please organize your Safari bookmarks as you wish on your Mac. Be sure that only the Bookmarks you want are in the Safari Bookmarks. You can then re-enable the sync service for Safari and the bookmarks on all your devices. The link below can also provide some great tips to resolve this for you.
