Q: Apple Watch iPhone Camera Viewfinder on Wifi

So I have a questions about the iPhone Camera Apple Watch viewfinder. I was wondering if the connection to the camera on the apple watch to use it as a viewfinder used over wifi. If so it would be smart to use your phone as a baby camera as you walk around your house. The problem is if it just uses Bluetooth that range will diminish to maybe 10 feet if going through a wall. If on wifi you can walk through the whole house and be able to see the through the camera walking around the house.
