Location Services not working new MacBook Pro

I purchased a new MacBook Pro (OS X El Capitan) just yesterday and setup location services as I have on all my other previous Macs. It says location services are on and I've also allowed "Find my Mac" to use my location through iCloud. Location services are turned on, yet with all these settings that seem correct and complete I am unable to see my computer's location through iCloud, maps, or any other location service. On iCloud it says my computer is "online, unable to locate." Any assistance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
