Apps signed in to new account

I recently wiped clean a used iphone5 and reinstalled from my icloud backup. Worked fine, except I opened istragram to find it signed in to a friend's account. Same happened with tinder a few weeks later (though this time it was a weird merging of our two accounts). She's never used my phone before to potentially have her account details stored there. How did this happen?
