Q: Storage Almost Full

Ever since I updated to 9.3.4 I am constantly getting the "storage almost full" error and I know its not.  I deleted pictures and apps but every time I check my storage the available store counter keeps fluctuating which makes me think something is wrong because it should not be having that issue.  Especially if I have deleted things and not added anything.  Yet when I go to take pictures or after using the phone for a period of time just checking FB or my group me and not posting anything just viewing, I get the message about my storage.

Why is that?  Please help!!! I am going on vacation in a week and want to be able to take pictures and videos without this issue popping up and stopping me from doing so.  Which I never had a problem with before.  Can I go back to the previous version of the op system where I did not have this problem?

Thanks
