Q: How to switch off alerts in shared calendars?
Hi all,
My question is as follows: is it possible [and if yes then how] to switch off alerts about changes in a shared calendar on ios 9?
I share calendar "A" from mac to my wife's iphone and every time I change something in an event she receives an alert on the screen of her phone, with sound.
Is there any way to remove notifications about every single change to events?
Thanks for your help
iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.4, 16 GB

Hi bart,
I understand that you would like to disable specific notifications on your wife's iPhone? You can certainly take control of which notifications are given on your iOS device.
To edit the notifications for that shared calendar so that an alert isn't shown for each change made to the calendar on your wife's iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications > Calendar > Shared Calendar Changes. You can then select the option for "None" so that no alerts are shown on her phone when there is a change made to the shared calendar. The This link below will also familiarize you with the different settings you can use to adjust your alerts specifically to your liking!
Use Notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
