If I close my 2015 mac laptop for more than a couple of hours it turns off and is very difficult to turn on

When I close it for a while (even with 100% battery) it turns off. When I try press the power button the screen stays black for like 15 minutes until it finally turns on. What should I do?

- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.

Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
