Q: Garageband not recognising external microphone

Hi all,

I'm a professional musician who has been using GarageBand for iOS to record my vocal wav files for years now. I run a Rode NT1a, through a focusrite 6i6 interface into my iPad Air 2 via a USB camera connection kit and have never had any major issues before now.

After I updated to the latest iOS, the audio recorder no longer actually picks up my mic... I also use Auria, and Metor and they are still working just fine. This is a massive inconvenience. One of the major reasons I have stayed loyal to iPad in the changing mobile devices market is because of Garageband's versitility.

If this issue is not resolved, I will probably reconsider my choice of mobile recording setup in the new year.
