Q: My iPhone's iMessage/FaceTime won't activate
I have a iPhone 6s (carrier T-Mobile) and recently updated it to iOS 9.3.4.
Yesterday evening my iMessage stopped delivering my messages to two group chats and would only send messages through text messages which my friends didn't receive. One friend does use her email on her iPod to chat. I couldn't send individual or group messages to anybody in those group chats, but I could still send messages to some other people. My FaceTime was still working fine. Then this afternoon I was looking for solutions to this problem. Many people suggested turning off iMessage and FT and then restarting my phone, which I did. But when I turned my phone back on iMessage and FT wouldn't activate. Since then both iMessages and FT have been trying to activate but have kept failing, errors have occurred, or the servers have failed. I cannot send any messages or FaceTime anyone.
I have tried:
Resetting the Network
Changing the Date/Time to Auto
Switching iMessage/FT on and off
I am also trying to chat with Apple Support but it is taking quite a while.
