Q: Mismatched color profiles
I have some videos I've recorded through quicktime that I'm doing some editing on.
When I edit them to my liking and export them at their native resolution (1920x1080) the resulting clip is given the color profile of HD (1-1-1).
Now if I want to crop a portion of a second video (or even the same video), and export it at a custom resolution (400x344) the resulting clip is given the color profile of SD (6-1-6)
When these two separate objects are then stacked on top of one another, the colors are obviously a jumble that is just a mess.
Is there no way to manually control the assigned color profiles of these videos?
For the project I'm working on, there is no way to combine the two into a single entity. They need to be able to play separately from one another.
I don't even care what color profile is used, I just need all my videos, regardless of resolution to use the same color profile. I feel like that's not too much to ask...
