Q: I have a new iphone 6 and a 10.7.5 operating system macbook pro that won't let me download the latest version of itunes... is there any way to transfer the songs to the phone manually?

I have just purchased an iphone 6s

 

i want to move my music from itunes on to the phone

 

my macbook pro runs 10.7.5 operating system

 

the latest version of itunes won't load on my machine

 

can I get my music on to my phone manually or ?

    The only option other than upgrading the version of OS X on your Mac, would be to subscribe to iTunes Match. That will allow you to upload your music to the cloud, and download it from there to your phone.

     

    Your machine is technically capable of running the current version of OS X, which you can download from the Mac App Store for free. I would highly recommend upgrading the RAM in your machine to the maximum (8GB) prior to doing so.

    Hi,

    You need Mac OS X 10.8.5 or later to run latest version of iTunes (12.4.3.)
