Smart Playlist

Hello,

I am a radio presenter and it seems like every time apple makes a change to iTunes I end up trying to figure out how to make it work the way it USED to.

I have a number of smart playlists set up by genre and use these to produce a program. For instance my bluegrass smart playlist has over 8000 tracks in it. To produce a program I got to that playlist and select a song to play and move it to the new production list and with the shuffle on I get it to jump to another song. Previously when I did this the little "play icon" would follow the shuffle allowing me to then move that randomly selected tune in to the new production list. In this way I would develop a program of 50 or so randomly selected songs.

Now, when it jumps to the next song the icon does not follow and I can't simply move the song.

Can anyone tell me how to make the blankety blank thing to behave???????
