Q: fcpx hangs on startup

I have Final Cut Pro X (ver. 3.981.301.047) and OS El Captain 10.11.6 and having problem at startup of Final Cut Pro X. It keeps hanging with the spinballs for hours and hours. After a long while, it gives back command to the user, but when I restart the Mac, I keep having hanging problems.

I have already tried several techniques (e.g.  Prevent Nap App, etc.).. but nothing worked so far.

Any brilliant idea?

    Hi Tom

    I have the following version:

    Command:         Final Cut Pro

Path:            /Applications/Final Cut Pro.app/Contents/MacOS/Final Cut Pro

    Version:         10.2.3 (276640)

    Build Version:   1

How can I practically clear all preferences?
If I enter with another user in the same Mac Pro machine, I'm able to access properly the software
