Q: iMac 5k retina 27 inches

Hi

I have a problet with my latest version oh IMac 5k Retina display 27 inches running latest iOS. Recently it would not turn on, if it does it will crash. Not releasing what could be the issue Apple centre in Leicester changed its logic board and reset it on my first trip. After using machine for couple of days same problem recurred. It would not start up or turn o, and if it did it will crash. this time at Apple in leicester ran diagnostics, ran some ste test after keeping it overnight at store. i was reassured that no problem was found. Now machine is back home and again same proble, failure to turn on and if it does crashing again is happening. It will go back to Apple Store next week for inspection as apple care are unable to provide any support online or on phone. Is anyone out there facing similar problems or issues with this version of iMac?

iMac, iOS 9.3.4

If you can get it booted up, please download and run EtreCheck, created by one of own helpers here in ASC. It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. Also it will give us further specs on your Mac. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information.

Very simple, you need to make an appointment with the store that worked on it and take it back to be looked at. As long as you have AppleCare, you may want to ask Apple if they will replace the machine. Be polite, firm and have your facts organized before you speak to anyone. Bring receipts, dates, trouble ticket numbers, etc so you appear to be organized and can put together a justification.

Well, I assume you are pass the window to return your iMac for a refund. I would request or exchange, due to the fact that you've had it services a few times and the issues has not been resolved. Time to speak to someone about that!
