Q: iPad 2 trying to install 9.3.4...hung up

Installing 9.3.4 to iPad 2, has been stuck on the Apple page for over two hours.

iPad, iOS 7.0.3

Quit the install and then restart the iPad. Then go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (the first one) > and if there is an update listed, delete it. Then restart again, go to Settings > General > Software Update and try downloading the update again.

If this does not help try updating through iTunes on your computer.

Carolyn,
Don't have the computer with iTunes with me. I assume I am just going to have to leave the iPad this way until I can get to the computer. No way to turn it off now? Pressing and holding the Power button/ wake/sleep by it's self doesn't do anything. Can I press it and the Home button now or do I have to be connected to iTunes? Thanks so much for being there. Eddie
