Q: Our Apple TV has stopped showing up on our Remote app.
After a period of short travel outside our area, we returned home and discovered that the Remote app ceased working with our AppleTV (3rd Gen). There had been an AppleTV icon and an iTunes icon on the app. After our trip, the iTunes icon had disappeared, and the AppleTV icon became unresponsive (it used to activate access to the AppleTV). I deleted the AppleTV icon and went through the steps to re-establish it, pairing my phone with the AppleTV, but all I ended up with on my Remote app was an iTunes icon which does nothing. I deleted the Remote app from the phone and re-installed it, but that didn't change things. Still didn't work.
Curiously, the AirPlay function still works fine from all our devices (iPads (gen 3) and iPhones ().
What's up?
