Papers3 Citations

Hi!

I recently started writing my scientific manuscripts on Pages. I like the ease of composing documents and changing styles. However, when it comes to citations, I personally found Endnote to be cumbersome and slow. The full license is also very pricey.

I have recently bought a Papers3 license, and I like its ease of use, the possibility to organize your library and add citations to a variety of programs, including Pages. Papers3 will add unique citations key to your text. When the document is ready, it will 'format' it so as to show references at the bottom, in the style required by the specific editor you choose. This saves so much time and effort on the part of the authors.

However, the formatting option does not work on Pages 5. On this Papers3 troubleshooting page, the team says that while it was possible to add references and format a pages 09 document, the recent changes to the Apple script in pages 5 make it impossible to format the document.

It would be very nice if the Apple team tackled the issues that prevent papers3 from adding their own user-authorized modifications to the document. Since there is still this issue, I am forced to use Microsoft Words, something I am not enthusiastic about as I'm a big fan of iWorks.

I really hope you can solve the issue, so that I can still enjoy working with Pages and Papers3 together.
