how to select the language of the books. All books iBooks shows to me are per default in German. I wanna change that, how?

this does not work, I can not change to another region, since then the system does not want to accept my credot card!
You can't change to another country unless you are physically in that country (and have a billing address in that country), and if you are in German speaking country then most of the ibooks are likely to be in German (you can't change the language of a book). If there are particular books that you'd like to buy you could try contacting the publisher/rights-holder for your country and ask them to allow Apple to sell them in the language that you want, or are they are available on other ebook apps/stores that you have access to ?
Language is determined by the iBooks Store you download content from. The only way to change the language is to change stores > Change your iTunes Store country or region - Apple Support
