Q: File creation date saved to memory of iphone

Am I correct in that, the image "file creation date" that is saved to the memory of the iphone, is different from the image EXIF creation date?  Is it possible to edit the image "file creation date" (not EXIF date) that's saved to memory of iphone?  Is the image "file creation date" uploaded to icloud backup, or just the image EXIF data, or both?

Thanks!!

As I mentioned on your other analogous posts, there is no control on any iOS devices regarding creation date. You can edit those with a computer but not with an iPhone.

    To answer your questions:

    1) No, it is the same.

    2) No, you cannot edit it on the phone.

    3) Whatever metadata exists on the photos is all uploaded to iCloud with no changes.

Ok thanks.  So that I'm clear, and my apologies for being redundant, when you take a photo with your iphone the only data that is associated with that image is in the EXIF data?  In other words, there is no data written to the system memory with some association about the image?

    Thanks again!
