Hello GB users,
I create rap-like music on garageband with my iPhone 6+ and v-moda crossfade M-100 headphones, untreated large room.
I have 2 questions:
1.) on the headphones, it looks like 2 audio inputs, one high up and close to the headphones, and larger one with the rubber button (which seems to do nothing).
My first night recording with these I remember speaking into the larger one; recording today this one isnt picking up sound and i had to record into the smaller one.
Any ideas why this is happening ? The smaller input ***** and throughout my verses it accentuates the sylables so high that it takes the dB from +6 to +RED and makes static.
2.) Others recording on GB what settings work best for you?
Typically mine sound best in 'small room' with echo 20%, reverb 40%, compressor 50%.
But even today with my special settings, I recorded a bunch of useless verses.
