Q: i cant tether my d610 since up dated my mac to El Capitan

since updateing my imac and macbook pro i cant tether in lightroom with my Nikon D610 apple say this is a lightroom problem is this true or is apple fobing me off it was ok till i updated thankyou

Have you looked for updated drivers?
In El Capitan Apple tightened up driver signing and may devices need updated drivers.

What version of Lightroom are you using? The most current versions of
Lightroom supposedly fixed the issue as it needed a plugin from Nikon
to fix it. The current versions are:
Lightroom CC 2015.6.1
Lightroom 6 6.6.1

Just to add, there was an update of ViewNX-i released Aug. 17th in case you use it.
