How do I change credit card information on my iPhone se

I'm trying to change credit card information on my iPhone SE. When I delete my old informatio, it doesn't delete it. I soon as I exit out and reenter the information is back. Can somebody tell me what I'm missin.

iPhone SE, iOS 9.3.4
